Greensboro, NC is experiencing an era of growth that’s poised to accelerate as favorable economic; population and employment trends provide ongoing tailwind for The Piedmont Triad area.  But that alone won’t ensure that Greensboro continues to be a great place to live, work, and learn.

The City of Greensboro’s GSO2040 development plan  (https://online.encodeplus.com/regs/greensboro-nc-comp/) with its Six Big Ideas are intended to support Greensboro’s growth while enhancing quality of life.  And it’s great when everyone is on the same page: Downtown Greensboro Inc. and other community organizations have a targeted plan to continue the revitalization of Downtown, known as GSO35 (gso35.com), which dovetails smartly with the City’s plan.

The central objective of both plans is encourage and guide investment that facilitates making Greensboro a welcoming, safe, vibrant, convenient, fun and sustainable city with suitable housing, outdoor spaces and infrastructure.  Specific goals include increasing urbans density with a variety of housing options, improving walkability, and expanding economic activity.

The Addenbrook Apartments on Holliday Drive is our brand new 24-unit multifamily community arriving in early 2026.  Its “infill” nature, modern and sustainable construction features, location and amenities align perfectly with GSO2024 and GSO35.

The Addenbrook site, which was previously occupied by two post-war built homes, is located just off Spring Garden Street, a few blocks from The Corner at Elam and Walker Avenues and Lindley Park, and a short walk to UNCG and the Greensboro Coliseum.  The Addenbrook is an example of development transition from low-density use to high-quality housing that’s close to local businesses and amenities.

The location also aligns with GSO2040/GSO35 walkability and connectivity objectives.  And the building’s secure bike storage area aligns with car-optional lifestyle objectives.

Sensible development in a constructive community that makes objectives clear and favors investment leads to a win-win-win: a win for capital providers, a win for the community, and most of all, a win for our residents who can enjoy a high quality residential experience offered at good value.
